I am trained as both a fine art photographer and as a geologist, which has enabled me to create photomontages with both
surface and subsurface views. In my images I search for an interplay between the built environment and the geologic foundation below.
The way we mark the earth in the name of progress is also a theme in my work. How does our relentless foray into new environs and
our endless development of land extend in the downward direction?
